Samsung Galaxy On Nxt launched in India Full specs, features and price

Flipkart has listed the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt on its website today, with the phone priced at Rs 18,940. The full metal unibody phone will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. Even though the phone is now launched, the listing on the phone still says ‘Coming Soon’.
Samsung Galaxy On Nxt features a 5.5-inch display Full HD display and comes with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor coupled with an ARM Mali T830 MP1 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAm and 32GB ROM (expandable to 256GB).
Galaxy On Nxt features a 13MP primary camera (f/1.9 aperture) and an 8MP front camera. Camera features on the phone include – Auto, Beauty Face, Continuous Shot, HDR (High Dynamic Range), Interval Shot, Night, Panorama, Pro, Selfie, Sports, Sound and Shot, Wide Selfie.
The phone is backed by a 3300 mAh Li-ion battery. The phone will also feature Samsung’s S Secure system that allows for hiding or locking of apps and more.
The phone features a fingerprint sensor installed on the home button and dual SIM and microSD card slots, which accepts external cards up to 256GB. The phone is LTE (Cat 4) compatible and brings connectivity via GPS, Glonass, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. Galaxy On Nxt also comes with accelerometer and proximity sensors.
Samsung Galaxy On Nxt is a Flipkart exclusive and will be available in two colours – Black and Gold, at Rs 18,940.
Samsung India has recently announced that it will be making all future launches of smartphones that are 4G capable, through which it expects to gain a larger market share in the country.

“There is huge conversion happening from feature phones to smart phones at the entry level. This migration will continue. All the future launches, including entry-level segment, will have 4G facilities and we will sell 4G devices. But at the same time, there will be certain set of feature phones users because of price points,” said the company’s Vice President (Mobiles Business) Manu Sharma.
